Welcome Alejandro Ricardo Cacho!
January 24 2024
Alejandro is an undergraduate 2nd-year studying Biochemistry at Columbia University. During his time in the Polleux Lab, he will be investigating the role of postsynaptic proteins SRGAP2 and SynGAP1 and their impact on the maturational state of excitatory and inhibitory synapses in cortical pyramidal neurons. He is very excited to continue working in the lab as well as learning from his peers
